Our Seminar Series
Since October 2022, we have been organising a series of monthly seminars dedicated to new research on Medieval Studies in Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa.
The overall theme for the 2022-23 academic year's sessions was
"New research in the Post-Aksumite and Zagwe Periods".
Our goal is to bring together archaeologists, historians, art historians, and philologists with a shared interest in exploring the rich histories of the Horn of Africa from the 8th to the 18th centuries.
